Patrick’s artwork questions the psychological conventions that define what is ‘human nature’. Encompassing this is the role of the visual artist in shaping how we relate ourselves to the world of what we do, and do not understand. All encompassing is what we think, what we feel, and what we do.
Modernist Art
Patrick is predominately a painter in the modernist style. He feels strong admiration for the early 20th century Avant-Guard. A deep wellspring of theories and practices to him, he believes modernist painting still holds relevance to society today.
